So this is my typical morning breakfast, I really try to have time to make a bowl of oatmeal... not instant, but the real deal. It actually isn't all that time consuming. I just use the time while it is cooking to finish packing my and the children's lunches.
1/2 c. oats to 1 c. water in the small pot set to medium
1/2 c. unsweetend applesauce with 1 Tbls. ground flaxseed
TA-DA!!! It is sooooo good!
I am usually good to go till about 10 or 11 AM, then it is usually a banana, yogurt or piece of low-fat string cheese to tide me over till my lunch break at 12:30 :)
